  • Office of Diversity and Inclusion
    The diversity division of the Academic Affairs Department at UNC Charlotte actively seeks to promote diversity in its educational environment through its recruitment, enrollment, and hiring practices.
  • Office of Identity, Equity, and Engagement (IEE)
    Provides students an affirming and equitable environment committed to fostering a campus community that celebrates and supports expansion of identities.
    • Student Organizations
      The University offers over 100 student organizations that cater to racial and ethnic minority issues, diversity, and culture.
    • LGBTQ+  Programs & Services
      The University offers a variety of programs and resources for students interested in learning more about the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Veteran Services
    Strives to create a successful transition and retention of veteran students through outreach and advocacy on campus. 
  • Office of Academic Diversity and Inclusion (OADI)
    Services rendered include but are not limited to academic advising, transition programs, academic support workshops, peer counseling and tutoring, and personal counseling. 
  • International Student and Scholar Office (ISSO)
    Provides information, services and programs that help international students and visiting scholars achieve their individual educational and personal goals and that foster an appreciation for a culturally diverse learning environment in the larger University community.
  • The Center for Graduate Life & Learning Ombudsman
    Students can contact an ombud, a neutral third party, to express concerns confidentially on issues arising within the University setting, both personal and/or academic.

  • University Ombuds
    Provides an alternative resource for the management, prevention and resolution of conflicts arising among the faculty and administration of the University they may speak in confidence about issues of concern encountered in the workplace.
  • UNC Charlotte ADVANCE
    This program builds faculty diversity and promotes faculty success through research and programming on recruitment, re-appointment, promotion and tenure practices; policy reform; mentoring; leadership and career development.
  • UNC Charlotte Human Resources Department
    Provides valuable information regarding current employment opportunities, benefit options, training opportunities, personnel policies/procedures, and other helpful resources to current employees and/or supervisors at the University.
  • LGBTQ+ Staff and Faculty Caucus
    Facilitates, influences, and provides guidance for educational, administrative, and personnel policies that affect the welfare of the LGBTQ+ community of UNCC.
  • DiversityEdu
    These courses are an online diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) learning experience available to all faculty, staff and students.
  • Community DEI Toolkit
    A growing online repository of resources and ideas created to foster learning, support active dialogue, and encourage you to stay engaged around topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
