Katie came to UNC Charlotte in September 2016 from Tallahassee, FL where she worked as a first-year academic advisor at Florida State University. She earned her B.S. in Art Education and her master’s degree in Higher Education from Florida State. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Education from NC State University. Katie’s advising philosophy focuses on concentrating on a student’s passions, values, and skills. Katie hopes to help every student maximize their undergraduate experience and graduate with a competitive degree in the liberal arts & sciences.
